This past spring, Triple-A Baseball fans discovered that casting flies can be as fun as catching them, and that pitchers aren’t the only people who can make strikes. Take Me Fishing™ once again partnered with Triple-A Baseball, giving fans at more than 30 parks around the country the opportunity to win prizes!

The Tierney family of Wadsworth, Ohio won the grand prize trip to Disney World

The 12-week partnership, featured a sweepstakes to win a Walt Disney World Fishing Excursion, fun prizes and other game-time contests.

At home games this season, fans were able enter the Take Me Fishing sweepstakes at registration kiosks in the ballpark or by filling out an entry form distributed by ushers. The lucky grand-prize winner was selected from a pool of entries collected by all participating teams.

In addition to the grand prize sweepstakes, participants also had the opportunity to win the first place prize, a local fishing trip with team players and coaches. Additional prizes were given away to people participating in the fun “Fish or No Fish” between-innings game.
